Friends of the Valley Community Center

Avista – Avista has approved a cash donation of $1,500 for the Center to help purchase and install new handicap bells, wiring and permits for the entrance doors at the Center to help our support our local area seniors, low-income area residents and veterans who visit the Center, many of whom come to the Center in Dial-A-Ride, using walkers or on crutches and need help opening the doors at the Center.

The Executive Board of the Center, its officers, staff, volunteers and members of the Center wish to thank Avista This is the second grant The Avista Foundation has given to the Center, the first was to help purchase food to give away for free to the attendees at the Center’s three times per week low cost senior meal program.  The continued support of the Foundation is a great deal to all of us.
